We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Business Partner to join our client’s team, a group of Hotels in Brussels. In this role, you will act as a strategic partner to management, driving HR initiatives that align with business objectives while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. You will be responsible for a broad range of HR activities, from talent management and employee relations to policy implementation and organizational development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with hotel GM’s to understand their needs and translate them into actionable HR strategies.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices in compliance with local labor laws.
- Lead employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and engagement initiatives.
- Support talent development, training programs, and succession planning.
- Analyze HR metrics and provide data-driven insights to improve workforce productivity and retention.
- Ensure a strong company culture by promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Hard Skills:
- Proven experience (3+ years) as an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner, preferably in a multinational or fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of Belgian labor law and HR compliance.
- Experience with HRIS, payroll systems, and HR analytics.
- Ability to manage complex HR projects and change management initiatives.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on pragmatic and human-centric solutions.
- High emotional intelligence, adaptability, and resilience.
- Strong ethical standards and confidentiality.
- Languages: Fluent in French, English, and Dutch (written and spoken).
Nice to Have:
- Experience in the hospitality, service, or corporate sector.
- Certification in HR (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) or a Master’s degree in HR Management.
