Hospitality Talents,, a recruitment agency specialized in hospitality, is currently looking for an HR Manager for one of our clients, a high-end hotel in Brussels area, we are currently looking for an experienced and hands-on HR Manager.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the HR Manager will play a key strategic and operational role in supporting the hotel’s performance through strong people leadership, talent development, and a positive company culture.

This position is ideal for a dynamic HR professional who thrives in an international hospitality environment and combines strong knowledge of Belgian labour law with a true passion for people.

Key Responsibilities

HR Strategy & Business Partnership

  • Act as a trusted partner to the leadership team in all HR-related matters
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the hotel’s people strategy
  • Support a culture of excellence, engagement, and service quality

Recruitment & Talent Development

  • Manage the full recruitment process for all departments (Rooms, F&B, Events, Support)
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and integration of new employees
  • Drive training and development initiatives in line with brand standards

Employee Relations & Social Dialogue

  • Maintain strong employee relations and promote a healthy working environment
  • Manage social relations and ensure compliance with Belgian labour regulations
  • Liaise with employee representatives and oversee legal HR procedures when needed

HR Administration & Compliance

  • Supervise HR administration: contracts, payroll coordination, policies, internal procedures
  • Ensure compliance with Joint Committee 302 and Belgian employment law
  • Monitor HR KPIs such as absenteeism, turnover, engagement, staffing levels

Culture & Employer Branding

  • Promote the employer brand and support internal communication
  • Lead initiatives related to engagement, wellbeing, diversity & inclusion
  • Foster a strong “people first” mindset across the organisation

 

Experience & Background

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an HR management role
  • Previous experience in hospitality, luxury retail or premium service environments is a strong asset
  • Solid understanding of operational realities and team dynamics in service industries

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of Belgian social legislation and HR best practices
  • Excellent communication, coaching and conflict-resolution skills
  • Proactive, hands-on, and highly organised
  • Ability to work autonomously and build trust at all levels
  • French, Dutch and English mandatory
