Director of Finance

Our client, a high-end establishment located in Brussels, is currently seeking an experienced Director or Finance to join its leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the complete, accurate and timely keeping of the company’s accounting, in compliance with legislation, applicable regulations and internal directives from Management.
• Implement and maintain ongoing audit and financial control systems to monitor the company’s performance, cash flows, budget compliance, expenses, revenues, cost of sales and other budgetary elements.
• Prepare and regularly present to Management the financial statements and reports necessary for the smooth operation of the business.
• Recruit, develop and manage competent Finance and Procurement teams in order to achieve the objectives set.
• Manage and control reporting and cash flow forecasting, ensuring optimal use of funds and availability of the necessary liquidity.

Profile

• 5 to 10 years of experience as a Financial Director in the hospitality sector in Belgium.
• Excellent knowledge of hotel accounting and accounting systems.
• Advanced command of Excel and office tools.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of Sun Accounting and Vision (Infor) is an asset.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in Finance, Accounting or a similar field.
• Recognised professional qualification (ACCA / ACA / CIMA).

• A permanent contract on a full-time basis.
• A key leadership position within a prestigious high-end establishment.
