Hospitality Talents, a recruitment agency specialized in Hospitality profiles, is currently looking for an experienced and highly motivated Chef de Cuisine to join the team of our client in Brussels, a prestigious international airline.
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chinese Head Chef, specialized in authentic Chinese and Asian cuisine.
This position is based in a demanding, high-standard environment where quality, consistency, and authenticity are essential.
Main Mission
The Chinese Head Chef is responsible for the preparation, organization, and supervision of kitchen operations, in full respect of traditional Chinese culinary standards and the quality and hygiene requirements of the establishment.
Over time, the role will evolve toward a leadership position, involving full supervision and coordination of the kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute authentic Chinese and Asian dishes
- Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all dishes
- Select products and manage supplies in collaboration with management
- Strictly ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP)
- Organize kitchen operations to guarantee efficient production
- Train, supervise, and motivate the kitchen team
- Gradually evolve into a leadership role with full team supervision
- Transmit culinary know-how and maintain a professional team spirit
- Mandatory proficiency in the Chinese language (Mandarin or relevant dialect) – essential and non-negotiable requirement
- Already established in Belgium or holding EU Passport (no visa sponsorship)
- Proven experience in Asian cuisine, with a strong specialization in Chinese cuisine
- Strong technical culinary skills and in-depth knowledge of traditional products and techniques
- High level of organization, autonomy, and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure in a structured environment
- Natural leadership skills and team management capabilities
