Housekeeping Manager

The ideal candidate will ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction while managing the housekeeping team with efficiency and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all daily operations of the housekeeping department, including rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Lead, train, and motivate the housekeeping team (room attendants, supervisors, linen staff, etc.).
• Prepare schedules based on occupancy forecasts and operational needs.
• Ensure strict compliance with brand standards, hygiene, and safety protocols (including HACCP procedures).
• Monitor and control departmental budgets, inventory, and supply orders (linen, cleaning products, equipment).
• Conduct daily quality checks in rooms and public areas to ensure excellence in cleanliness and presentation.
• Manage onboarding and continuous training of housekeeping staff.
• Collaborate closely with other departments (Front Office, Maintenance, F&B, Management) to ensure seamless operations.

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar leadership position.
• Proven skills in team management, scheduling, and quality control.
• Strong eye for detail and dedication to delivering impeccable service standards.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and in a fast-paced, guest-focused setting.
• Fluent in English and Dutch.
• Solid knowledge of hotel systems and housekeeping software.
